This tour is the perfect combination of the vibrant colors of the Ligurian coast, the flavors of Italian cuisine and historical charm. We will set off from Nice to meet Italy and discover its picturesque coastal towns, enjoying the atmosphere and lifestyle that Italians call “dolce vita”.

The first stop is Sanremo or “city of flowers”, known for its luxurious atmosphere, beautiful gardens and the famous Italian Song Festival. We will stroll through the historic center where we will see colorful streets with cozy cafes, ancient churches and palaces.

Then we will go to the famous Sanremo Casino, a symbol of aristocratic elegance. Nature lovers will definitely enjoy a visit to the parks and gardens where roses and exotic plants bloom. Here we will have the opportunity to make memorable photos against the background of the promenade and flowering alleys, embodying the style and atmosphere of the Ligurian coast.

DOLCEAQUA - a medieval fairy tale of Liguria

After lunch our route takes us to Dolceacqua, an ancient village with narrow stone streets and an ancient bridge over the river Nervia, which Claude Monet called “a miracle of beauty and grace”.
We will stroll through the medieval streets and see the Doria Castle towering above the town. Optional visit to the Castle (entrance: 5euro/person)

Dolceacqua charms with its history and color: stone houses, shops with local products and stunning views make it a real gem of Liguria. Walking through this town, you will feel like you have traveled back in time to the Middle Ages and take unique photos against the backdrop of the majestic bridge and fortress.

Return to Nice

After a busy day filled with the tastes, aromas and beauty of the Ligurian coast, we will head back to Nice. This day will give you an unforgettable introduction to Italian culture and atmosphere that can only be experienced on the Ligurian coast.

After a walk around Sanremo we will head to Ventimiglia, a cozy seaside town by the sea. Here we will stop for lunch in one of the restaurants of the old town, where we will have an authentic introduction to Ligurian cuisine. We will try dishes made with fresh seafood, pasta with pesto, traditional focaccia and homemade Italian desserts.
Lunch in Ventimiglia will be a real gastronomic delight, as Liguria is famous for its rich culinary heritage.
